Based on a original design created by Carl Faberge in 1902, Imperial Gatchina Crystal Egg is mouth blown and hand-cut in France, then shipped to St. Petersburg, Russia for a copper-wheel engraving and application of 24k gold encrustation. Master engravers, who are descendants of the original Faberge artisans, expertly decorate the fabulous reproduction of Faberge design on this egg. The Imperial Gatchina Egg is mounted on gold-plated antique finish bronze Laurel stand. Each egg is sighed and numbered.
